How do I say Agapē and what does it mean?

Agapē is a grammatical play on the Greek word agápē, one of the six Greek words for love. It is pronounced ah-gah-pay. Agapē is deeply rooted within Christianity and has several translations, including a charitable and service-driven expression of a love for humanity and God.

Where is Agapē Chiropractic?

Agapē Chiropractic is primarily located on the boarder of Mount Eden, Mount Roskill and Three Kings in Auckland Central. We are currently located at residential addresses, so you'll be given our exact location after you book your Initial Visit.

One day a week we are located in Enderley, Hamilton. We will give you our address once you book your Initial Visit.

How can I get there?

With plenty of free off-street parking at all times, driving to both of our premises is easy. We are also conveniently located 5-10 minutes walk away from main bus routes!

What techniques are used?

We primarily use NetworkSpinal™ as we believe it makes the biggest impact with the gentlest touch to the spine (we call this 'adjustment' an 'entrainment'). It encourages communication and team-work within your body to enhance breathing, remove tension through movement and expand your day to day experience with the world around you. Each person has a unique experience and outcomes, which is part of the charm of chiropractic care. Other chiropractic techniques we may use include Activator and Diversified.

Is there anything that would stop me receiving chiropractic care?

In the Initial Visit we talk through your medical history and perform physical exams that ensures chiropractic care is safe and effective for you. NetworkSpinal™ allows for seated and standing care if mobility is difficult. If you have a particular concern or medical condition you would like to discuss first, please contact us!

Are the premises suitable for a person with physical disabilities?

Unfortunately, our premises do not allow for wheelchair access at this point in time. If you have mild mobility issues please call us to discuss if the premises will suit your needs, and let us know on your intake forms. Our technique, NetworkSpinal™, allows for seated and standing care if mobility is difficult.

Why is my posture important?

Chiropractors often focus on posture- we even have a postural analysis as part of our exams! In NetworkSpinal™, posture is a lot more than just how your body looks. It gives insight into how your body is handling stress or has handled it in the past. It also shows how effective your body is at being flexible under those stresses and what kind of strategies your body uses to keep itself functioning behind the scenes. According to the technique's founder, "the shape, position, tone and tension of your spine dictates the shape, position, tone and tension of your life!".
